I am so excited to share today’s post! It’s one y’alls favorite posts of the year which means y’all are just as book nerdy as me because it’s one of my favorite posts too! 😉
So let’s chat books. If you saw my list of books I wanted to read and books I actually read in 2016, you will see quite a big difference. I am realizing how much I gravitate to books in different seasons. I have no idea what this year holds so I am actually sharing a list of 42 books. I’m also thinking I may read less than 25. Soooo…my post name was a total failure. One of my goals is to spend more time in the presence of the Lord and part of that is reading my Bible more. I don’t want to choose books over the Bible just to meet a challenge I set for myself so I’m going to keep this a bit less rigid than year’s past. However, I do like some structure because I have seen how books have changed and grew me in the past so that’s why I’m still shooting for 25 but not going to be hard on myself if I don’t!
So, here’s what books I’d love to read this year!

Now your turn!! I want to hear what is on your list!!
I just bought three of these books based on your recommendation… 18 minutes, are you fully charged (on my reading list last year and didn’t get to it and Loving my actual life….
Awesome!! I hope you like them!!
Love your list!! I would love to read many of those. A few on my list are You Are Free (Rebekah Lyons), Too Busy Not To Pray (at your recommendation!) and The Art of Neighboring. I’m looking forward to hearing your reviews 🙂
Oh those sound good!! Yes! I’ll definitely share reviews!! 🙂
I love reading your book lists! I’m reading Sugar Crush and have cut out the foods that make me feel sick, but I get so anxious around food. I can’t ever eat what I cook! I’m definitely going to read, “Food Freedom Forever” before taking on any drastic changes. Kind of tired of money going down the drain because I chicken out!
Oh yes! Sugar Crush helped me see sugar differently. And yes, I hope Food Freedom Forever is helpful! I’m excited about that one too!!
I always make a list of books to read and NEVER make it through it! 🙂 But I do listen to Gretchen Rubin’s podcast and really enjoy it! And a fun fact: Tim Keller’s book ‘The Meaning of Marriage’ is the reason Jason and I are married now! Hope you enjoy it because we really did!
Oh I just started listening to podcasts! Going check hers out!!
So excited to have found your site. I love everything you offer. Make great gifts and for my personal needs.
