Today as Tyler headed off to work, I was reminded that it was 6 years ago this month that I “remet” Tyler. I had met him a few years earlier but thought he was a total goof and a ladies man. Little did I know, he could actually care less about girls at the time.
When we remet, he handed me a business card. It was for a business he had just started. For some reason, that little card made me see him in a whole new way. He seemed responsible and not the guy I remember dressed as Napoleon Dynamite doing all the dance moves. Proof below.
Why am I telling you this story?? Because I wanted to brag on Tyler a little. He started Pixelbrush 6 years ago this month! I texted him to remind him of this big milestone because it’s definitely worth celebrating. He’s such a smart and innovative guy and I’m proud of what he’s grown his business to be. He actually graduated in broadcast journalism but taught himself WEB DESIGN! I still don’t know how he did that. He inspires me daily. We have so many chats about business bouncing ideas off each other and challenging each other. I’m so proud of him!
You might STILL be asking, why am I telling you this story?? : ) I started thinking how it’s so easy NOT to brag on our husbands. It’s not that we don’t appreciate them. We just get busy and forget the importance it holds. 1.) It reminds ourselves of the things we love about them instead of that one silly thing that annoys us. 2.) It shows them we appreciate them.
