What a treat to get to return to Spring at the Silos at Magnolia in Waco! We were so glad to go back to see familiar faces, pray with people, introduce our journal format to new friends and of course, try out the new Magnolia Press Coffee Co!
If you get the chance to attend Spring at the Silos (or Silobration in October), it’s truly an amazing experience! There’s a different vibe there and we can tell you, the prayers of many over the years and the character and spirit with which Magnolia is run is a part of that!
This year, we decided to get back to basics. We dreamed up a booth similar to our first time with a slight refresh. We aren’t selling something familiar. People know if they like a mug or shirt when they see it. With our journals, it requires some explaining and we love how this wall does some of that for us!
Make no mistake, we talked our heads off and loved every minute of it. It’s rare we get to share our journal format with people in person, so to see their reaction is always exciting to witness. We also love seeing our new fans explain the concept to a friend who just walked up!
In case you didn’t know, our veteran teammate, Kara, who’s been to all 3 previous events just had a little girl! (Link to Insta post if Kara has one), so I’ve got some quick iPhone shots instead of the magic Kara usually creates!
