Top 5 Books, Vol. 2

Last year, I started thinking about what top 5 books truly changed my life. As I put together my list, I started thinking how fun it would be to know what books affected the lives of those ladies I so greatly admire. You can see the original post here.

Today, I am thrilled to share with you more of my favorite ladies and their top 5 books. I know how impactful reading can be and these are women I greatly admire. To peek into what books may have shaped those amazing qualities is truly humbling and I’m so thankful they have shared with us today!

Same “rules” as last time!

READ SOME AMAZING BOOKS:

I’ve intentionally asked them to only share with me their top five without going into detail because I think we can all get something different out of the books we read. AND this post would have been the length of a book itself. ; ) Check these books out on Amazon through the links. If they sound appealing, download the Kindle sample. If you don’t have a Kindle or iPad, get the Kindle app for your phone. Read all the samples that interest you and then pick to read only the books that really resonate with you. Book reading shouldn’t be overwhelming. It should be exciting!!

ENTER TO WIN:

This year, instead of giving away my top five books, I’m giving away a $50 giftcard to Amazon so you can order whatever books from the list pique your interest!! To enter, follow the amazing girls below on Instagram. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Each person you follow counts as an extra entry!! Contest ends Friday!!

  • Morning! Thank you SO much for this amazing list of books, I am always looking for great reads. I now know where to go when I need another book, I also added most of these books to my Amazon wish list, so I don’t forget about them! You rock Val! • Just a note — We don’t all have smartphones, and without one, we cannot sign up for instagram. 🙁 I do follow Gretchen and Lara on their blogs though. If you want to reach more people, don’t restrict access to 1 option. I do follow blogs by email, and I use Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, and I download free books to my Kindle.

    • Hi Janet! So sorry about that! If you’d like to follow along, you can actually do so online at https://instagram.com/. No iphone needed to look at their feeds! 🙂 I would definitely check out their instagram feeds. I think for most of these ladies, this is their main source of inspiration so I definitely wanted to point to this platform more than others. I know for FB for me, about 100 of my 2,000 followers actually see my post so I’ve focused my energy on instagram where there are no crazy algorithms or limitations for who can see. Hope that helps!!
